Basic facts

- There will be two squads taken to a game, both squads can have up to 10 players.
- There will only be 8 players on the pitch at all times with a referree.
- There are 4 players to each team.
- One team will be batting, one man will be batting and the rest of the team will be in the dug out awaiting their turn to bat.
- The other team will be defending, there will be one pitcher, one catcher and two basemen.

ATTACK

When batting:

1. A ball will be pitched at you via an /ame.
2. You will attempt to hit the ball with an /ame.
3. You will then /coin to determine whether you hit the ball.

Heads - you hit the ball.

1. If you successfully hit the ball, the referee will then /dice. This determines where the ball goes, for example: 1-2 is first base, 3-4 is second base, 5-6 is third base.
2. The referree will then shout out the number, it is only after the number has been shouted that you can start running.
3. When you run, you can only jog as this makes it fair for the pitchers.
4. Your aim is to run around the whole of the pitch, if you are caught or thrown out then you do not gain any points.
5. When you get to a base and play pauses, you then go back to the dugout with your points, for example: you got to second base, you get two points, first is one point etc etc.

Tails - you miss the ball.

1. The catcher behind you will gather the ball up and throw it back to the pitcher.
2. You have two more attempts to hit the ball.
3. If you miss all three attempts then you are sent back to the dug out.

DEFENSE

When pitching:

1. Pitching is simple, you will simply use /ame to pitch a ball at the catcher.
2. Your role is more for RP however you can command your fielders around if you so choose.

When fielding:

1. There will be two fielders, you decide between yourselves where you are positioned.
2. When a batter has hit the ball, the referee will throw a /dice determining what base it goes to, for example: 1-2 is first base, 3-4 is second base, 5-6 is third base. It is your job to either catch the ball and throw the batter out.
3. You can try to catch the ball like so: you must do two /ames, one for raising your arm and one for the actual grasping of the ball, for example:

/ame raises his hands in a cupped position, /ame tries to grasp the ball.

4. You will then do a simple /coin to determine whether you have caught the ball.
5. If it is heads you have caught it, tails means you have dropped it.
6. If you drop the ball, it's not over. You next step is to attempt to throw the batter out like so:

/ame picks the ball up. /ame throws the ball to 'the other_fielder'.

It must be two /ames.
7. The other fielder only has to do one /ame to catch the ball at the other base without a coin. If you manage to throw him out then he leaves the game.

Both teams will have two goes at batting and two goes at pitching.

The game is a work in progress and will go under matineance between seasons.
